Sustainability reporting from 2027

Kenya’s accountancy body, ICPAK, has set sustainability disclosure under the IFRS S1 and S2 standards as mandatory for public interest entities, including banks, listed companies and insurers, from 1 January 2027, with larger private companies to follow. The standards do not require video. But the teams preparing these reports will need clear ways to explain them to staff, investors and the public, and a short film from the field often does that better than another PDF.
